PUPILS of Port Alfred High School’s Interact Club visited Damant Lodge on Sunday to celebrate Mother’s Day with the ladies there.

Everyone received a slice of cake with some coffee or tea and were also given a small card and a flower to commemorate the occasion. “We wanted to give back and show the mothers at Damant that they are important and that we care for them,” Interact president Inga Mpepanduku said.

The Interact pupils regularly visit Damant Lodge and brighten the day of residents by entertaining them with song and dance or, in this case, delicious cake!
