THERE is a car guard at the beachfront parking area across from Guido’s who hassles the public for money and cigarettes.
There have also been incidents where cars have been scratched in this area. I have reported the actions of this “car guard” to the SAPS today [Wednesday June 2]. It is not good enough to say he has been warned, he will be back again.
It is about time that the powers that be regulate this car guard issue, rid it of criminals and ensure that such criminals do not return to the parking area by issuing restraining orders barring them from operating in public areas.
