NEW to the West Bank of Port Alfred is the Go Green Car Wash located at the Beavers Complex, which makes use of the Green Machine waterless car washing system.

While waterless car washing systems or “eco-washes” are not a new concept, the Green Machine is an affordable, sustainable and user friendly alternative product which helps to save water in South Africa.

“I felt there was a need for such a business, especially on the western side of Port Alfred to have such a service,” owner Leon Horn said. “We intend to wash cars by appointment, meaning your appointments, so we can fit in with people’s busy schedules.”

The Green Machine makes use of harmless, water-soluble wax which is sprayed on and wiped off with a micro fibre cloth. Some of the benefits of the Green Machine system are that it saves on water, is environmentally friendly, cost-effective and time saving. “It will take a maximum of 30 minutes per vehicle,” said Horn, whose service includes waxing, rims, tyres and vacuuming of the interior.

The cost for large vehicles is R85, and R75 for smaller vehicles. Contact Leon on (046) 624-1587 or 083-455-0979 to make your booking today.
