Local rhythmic gymnast, Kaylin van Heerden, who has moved to Dubai shows what it takes to earn a gold medal in an international competition.
Kaylin’s enthusiasm for gym all started when she joined Carol Anne Stiekema’s gym in Port Alfred. She later moved to Cape Town where she specialised in rhythmic gymnastics. Now resident in Dubai, she has represented her present club in Hungary (where she earned a bronze medal) and Dubai (where she obtained two gold medals) in international competitions.
