A police car was spotted driving outside Port Elizabeth on the N2 jam-packed with luggage, people and a child in the back seat. Witness, Pieter Bekker alleges he saw the driver holding a beer.
The post was originally made on the Public Servant News Network Eastern Cape but has since Tuesday made its rounds on social media generating lots of attention.
Eastern Cape provincial spokesperson captain Khaya Tonjeni verified that the registration of the vehicle belonged to Knysna Support component.
Provincial Commander for media communication and corporate communication, colonel Sibongile Soci, said that the incident has been reported to the Western Cape provincial office, and that they would respond.
