Cellist Berthine van Schoor and pianist Annalien Ball on the magnificent familiar finale of Camille Saint-Saens’ ‘The Carnival of the Animals’. The full-house concert at Richmond House featured well-known classical pieces and hitherto unknown gems, as well as a couple of jazzy pieces and one by a contemporary South African composer.
