Nemato Change a Life – News

FRESH START: Nemato Change a Life is in the process of building a new centre using sandbag technology

Building to something great

THE building of the Nemato Change a Life (NCAL) Centre has started.

“We are proud that the centre is designed by Robert Rich (Richlabs Architecture), who is an outstanding architect,” said NCAL founder Jan Blom.

“Our centre will be the first building in Port Alfred to use sandbag technology. The building will be done by people from the local community, mainly old Nemato members, who will be trained in this building technology.”

This story, plus solar power, youth day celebration, awarding Gold membership and more NCAL news in this week’s Talk of the Town.
