Explore Water’s Meeting- a hidden reserve in Bathurst

Friends of Waters Meeting Nature Reserve (FoWM) invites the public to join them on a walk August 26 from 9am-12pm.

AMAZING VIEW: Horse shoe bend can be seen from the look out point at the Water’s Meeting Nature Reserve

There are four hiking trails of different lengths and levels from dawdling  to demanding. Friends of Water’s Meeting, a Bathurst society aimed at preserving and promoting the reserve,  will be walking all the trails to see what needs maintaining, so you can walk any trail that appeals to you.  If you prefer to relax and watch birds, there is a picnic site with lawns and trees.  Bring wood and food for a braai after the walk if you would like to.  Please bring hats, water and sun block.  All ages welcome!

Friends of Waters Meeting Nature Reserve is organising a group trail walk August 26 to help identify areas that need maintenance

Reserve entrance fees are R20 per adult and R10 for children under 12.  The walk is free. We will meet at the gate and go from there.
