SOME of the visitors to the National Agricultural Youth Show, held in Bathurst, had a bad experience when checking-in at Chappys Cushion recently, complaining that the accommodation and food served was inadequate and well below the expected standard.
Despite a highly successful show, reportedly one of the best, visitors who stayed at Chappys Cushion were outraged enough about their accommodation to make a formal charge of fraud against the owners of the establishment.
Steven Chiro, the trustee of Chappys Cushion, said that everything was up to the standard the show’s provincial representative agreed to.
Both sides of the argument are given in our front page article.
