FOR all the Grade 12 pupils at Port Alfred High School it was an evening of fun with friends but, for many, mingled with a sense of nostalgia for the years they had spent there and the knowledge this was their final one.
Every year the ladies looked beautiful, dressed in their best gowns, and the men resplendent in their matching suits, and this was no exception.
Leaving the civic centre at just after 5pm, led by a fairy-tale carriage drawn by a team of Welsh ponies, there were cars galore following on, and even a trike all kitted out to ensure its passenger a smooth ride to the PAHS hall.
