NATIONAL outdoor Education Day means children learning, not in a stuffy classroom, but in the outdoors, playing in the mud or scaling a wall or raking leaves around the garden.
The kids at Happy Hours did just that on Thursday and had a really fun time doing so.
“It’s a time for the children to learn about the world outside the classroom,” said principal Tracy Lloyd. And what better way is there than to roll-up your sleeves and get “down and dirty” in the earth, or washing the toys at the school in the open air?
More photos to come. For now, see if you can spot your kids in this short video.
