MISSING PERSON FOUND : PORT ELIZABETH

Mr Fitt was found late last night when he walked into a restaurant in the Summerstrand area, very disoriented. Police were contacted and Metro Search and Rescue were first to respond. He is well and reunited with his family.

 

Kabega Park police in Port Elizabeth is urgently seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 61-year-old Westering man who is reported missing since yesterday (30/12).

According to police information, Nigel Fitt left his David Road home in Westering at about 08:45 to attend a church which is not far from his house.

He left on foot. When he failed to return home later in the day, his concerned family alerted the police. Enquiries conducted at church indicate that he never arrived for the Service.

At this stage, it is unknown in which direction Fitt may have walked. He did not take any personal belongings with him. He was wearing a green jacket, green shirt, charcoal coloured pants and a cap on his head.
