Long forgotten traditions remembered at the Kowie Museum

Honorary member of the Bathurst Agricultural Museum, Vic Keeton, was further honoured on Saturday when the lapa at the Ploughman was named, “Vic’s Place” on Saturday at a special ceremony.

Here Keeton gives a demonstration of how, as a young boy, there would be no money for clothes so they would make do with whatever was available. Using a hessian sack he folds it into a jacket.
