

Q: Tell us about your job.
A: I consult as a natural health practitioner. This entails analysis of an imbalance, diagnosis and then administration of the appropriate natural medicine. I’m also involved in the day-to-day running of the health shop.
Q: What made you get into that line of work?
A: In the ‘90s my dad qualified as a health practitioner. Since then I’ve always had an interest in this field.
Q: Describe the most memorable experience that you have had in your line of work.
A: The first time when a patient informed us that they recovered from a serious illness.
Q: What do you do to unwind when you are not working?
A: I read health, science and technology articles, watch good movies or TV shows.
Q: What is your motto in life?
A: Be good to others.
Q: What makes you happy?
A: Sunshine.
Q: What makes you angry?
A: When people lack optimism.
Q: What do you think about the youth of South Africa? Do you have any advice for them?
A: I think that they need proper guidance. I would tell them that education is the most important goal in life.

A: The people. They are community-centric … that is a rarity nowadays.
Q: If you could change one thing about Port Alfred…
A: Attract investment, this will create various types of jobs and it will help the local economy to grow.

Q: Three wishes for South Africa?
A: Basic services for all, job creation, and no more conflict.
Q: Who is your role model?
A: Elon Musk. He is a South African-born entrepreneur and a great visionary.
