MAY I, through your newspaper, appeal most sincerely to the drivers in the broader Ndlambe community to please take note, when travelling into Port Alfred from the East London side, of the “NO RIGHT TURN” sign on Albany Road into the Port Alfred High School grounds.
This is a particularly dangerous place to enter the school when coming down the hill, hence the “NO RIGHT TURN” sign. The recent accident at our school gates once again underscores the responsibility we share in terms of ensuring road safety, especially for the sake of our children.
