Two church goers sustain serious injuries after bus overturned near Grahamstown

SAPS are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving following an accident on the R67 yesterday afternoon.

The bus was carrying 70 persons, believed to be church goers, including the driver and was traveling from Port Elizabeth on route to Alice when the accident occurred approximately 15kms from Grahamstown.

Seven persons were treated while two have been transferred to a hospital in Port Elizabeth in a critical condition. The cause of the accident is not known and will be investigated. No other vehicle was involved.
