Alexandria local to debut for Springboks

THE time is coming closer for the much anticipated clash between the Springboks and Argentina later this afternoon at the Nelson Mandela Stadium. One player, Curwin Bosch has Ndlambe roots and hails from Alexandria where his family still resides today. He is scheduled to be on the bench as a replacement but since the 20-year-old displayed maturity beyond his years for the Sharks in Super Rugby, he might find favour with Springbok coach Allister Coetzee today.

Coetzee showered praise on the back-division star from Alexandria and said that Bosch had slotted well into the Springbok environment during his stay of almost two weeks with the squad in Port Elizabeth.

“Curwin is a young player with huge potential and a bright future,” Coetzee said.

The clash will be watched by a full house 46 000 crowd‚ who will be hoping their team can extend their four match unbeaten streak at the stadium alive.
