THERE are only four weeks to go until the Amanzi Festival begins in Port Alfred, when hundreds of competitors in various water sports are hoping to share some of the great prizes up for grabs.
The Royal St Andrew’s Hotel Amanzi Festival is going to be the place to be this Easter with world-class events and a whole lot of fun for the entire family. It is also the festival that should firmly establish Port Alfred as the water sports capital of the Eastern Cape.
Topping the list of major events taking part at this year’s Amanzi Festival is a world tour event, the WSL (World Surfing League) longboard championships at East Beach where only 36 competitors are going to be allowed to participate, ensuring the very best in the world will take part.
