South Africa had 3,370 new Covid-19 coronavirus cases, according to health minister Zweli Mhkize.
There have been a total of 21,378 deaths to date from a total of 781,941 confirmed positive cases with 124,067 from the Eastern Cape. There have been 722,876 recoveries.
With 234,305 confirmed cases, Gauteng has the highest number of infections nationwide.
