Yesterday a truck blocked Albany Road for the entire day until late into the evening when it jack-knifed.
Perhaps more signs indicating that truck drivers should engage lower gears would help, but these hills on either side of town seem to have trucks stuck, going into ditches or overturning far too often. What would be the solution? Is this happening more frequently, or is it the sheer increase in traffic volume through Port Alfred?
