ANOTHER truck has met its maker going up Albany Road around 8am this morning. An bystander reported that the driver was going up the hill and seemed to have slipped a gear. The truck then began rolling back down the hill. The trailer started to jack-knife before rolling the entire truck and trailer onto its side, blocking both lanes. The truck appeared to be empty according to bystanders.
SAPS as well as Sarah Baartman District EMS and Crash were on the scene. The driver was unharmed but a passenger allegedly sustained minor injuries.
