Kleinemonde Morning Market on the first Saturday of every month, from 8.30 to 10am. PARKRUN – every Saturday at 08h00
What is Port Alfred Parkrun? It is a 5km run – it’s you against the clock. Where is it? The event takes place at Port Alfred Town Hall, Causeway Road, Port Alfred. See Course page for more details. What does it cost to join in? Nothing – it’s free! but please register before your first run. Only ever register with Parkrun once. Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won’t get a time. How fast do I have to be? We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace!

St Andrew’s College will be hosting the Highland Gathering from in Grahamstown. Events over the two days include a Kilted Mile, Ceilidh, Massed Pipes and Drums, Pipe Band Competition, Highland Dancing Competition, Entertainment Stage and Highland Games. There will also be a Children’s Area and a Flea Market on Lower Field. All the activities will take place from The Highlander in Worcester Street and St Andrew’s Lower Field. In support of cancer awareness – Sunshine Coast SPAR in Kenton-on-Sea is sponsoring the Hospice Breast Cancer Awareness event, at The Red Apple Emporium  stating at 12 noon. Buco Kowie Striders 27km and 10km Pineapple Run. The 27km starts at the Big Pineapple in Bathurst and finishes at the Port Alfred Country Club – 7am for walkers and 7.30am for runners. Limited transport available on a first come, first served bases at R25pp. Transport leaves at 5.30am from the country club. The 10km starts and finishes at the country club. SA Open Kneeboard Championships at East Beach. Started in honour the late Clinton Bradfield who was a Springbok Kneelo. The Kowie Boardriders Club will be assisting with running the event and hosting the visitors. They are expecting around 40-50 kneeboard surfers to attend. All age divisions: cadet to immortal.
