Water outages in parts of Port Alfred

NDLAMBE Municipality has issued an alert that there is a slow flow of incoming water at the water treatment plant for Port Alfred, which has caused water shortages in some areas.

The areas affected are Duza Thornhill, Lokishi (location), Santa Hospital and Ndlovini, and possibly some areas in town, municipal spokesman Cecil Mbolekwa said.

He also said the water situation in Alexandria has improved as water levels have risen to 40%.

“Please note that water restrictions are still in place,” Mbolekwa said.
