The Port Alfred Art Club celebrated its 60th anniversary last Thursday, with a delicious sit-down meal at Harry B’s on the Kowie, showcasing the artwork of several members, scrapbooks of art club news and photos going back to the 1980s, and a fancy cake marking the milestone. Club president Jenny Basson presented an overview of the club’s history, along with interesting things from history through the decades of the club’s existence.
