Albany Vintage and Classic Motor Club Museum opens on the last Saturday of each month – 9am to 12 noon – Hawkins Industrial Park, Alfred Road, Port Alfred.

Kowie History Museum, at The Old Railway Station, Pascoe Crescent. Open 9.30am-12.30pm Tuesday-Saturday. Closed Sunday/Monday and public holidays.

Richmond House Museum will be open to the public 10:00-12:00 on the following four Saturday mornings in December: 10, 17, 24 and 31 December.

The Riverside Ramble: a new self-guided tour (map R10 from Sunshine Coast Tourism or Kowie History Museum) of historic Wharf Street and Van der Riet Streets.

17th Annual South African Schools Boat Race on the Kowie River. Hosted by St Andrew’s College and stationed at the Halyards Hotel. Finals will begin at 7am on Saturday, with the Women’s final being raced at 2.15pm and the Men’s final at 3pm.
