FOLLOWING protests by EFF members with respect to the alleged demolition of graves by the municipality at Esleyini in Nemato, several members of the party were arrested for public violence last Tuesday when they descended on the municipal offices in Campbell Street.
Among the claims made against the EFF, and specifically against Lindani Tshula, Onela Msesiwe and Xolisa Runeli, were that they entered the offices of the Ndlambe Municipality as well as the council chambers and disrupted meetings, allegedly beating up a director and physically intimidating a member of the public who was attending a meeting of the Ndlambe Ratepayers Forum.
