Premier Oscar Mabuyane has given a breakdown of the 21 Covid-19 confirmed cases in the Eastern Cape.
The update is as follows: Nelson Mandela Bay Metro has 11 cases followed by Buffalo City Metro with 4 and Sarah Baartman District with 4.
Amathole District has 1 and Chris Hani District also stands at 1.
Meanwhile, the USA today went over 300 thousand confirmed Covid-19 cases, while Italy and Spain each have 124 thousand cases.
As of Friday evening, there were just short of1.18 million confirmed Covid-19 cases globally, with almost 63 thousand dead.
