DUMP BY THE RIVER: A new rubbish dump appears to have sprung up at the riverside behind the Lounge off Pascoe Crescent recently. Lots of ordinary household waste is piling up against a fence and the easterly winds are regularly blowing the lighter elements such as cardboard and paper all along the river bank and into the river. Municipal spokesman Cecil Mbolekwa was asked to comment but had not replied by the time of going to press
