Kowie cop in double take-down

WARRANT officer Tertius Neethling attended a house break in progress at “Die Stoom pot” coffee shop. Neethling was around the corner attending to an alarm at the time.

He followed the tracks from the scene with his patrol dog and apprehended one suspect in the bush with the stolen property. A 26 year-old male was arrested and found with a cash register with R400 cash, a Dixon amplifier and a Dixon combo mixer were recovered to the value of R2 400-00.

While travelling with the suspect, Neethling arrested a 32 year- old man for drunken driving and reckless / negligent driving in Port Alfred.
