Demi-Leigh Nel Peters was crowned Miss SA on Sunday night and wowed not only the judges but also South Africa with her poise, beauty and reply in the question and answer part of the competition.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE just after being crowned, the 21-year-old said that it was a dream come true.
“I heard my name and tears just streamed down my face. The song I Was Here by Beyoncé played and it just defined that crowning moment for me,” she said.
