R67 blockaded with burning branches and refuse at 43 Air School turnoff and at crossing between Thornhill and New Rest informal settlement. Two burning blockades and a third set up but not alight yet. Police removed some of the debris to get through to site of main protest. Community members replaced the blockade as soon as the police cars had gone through. Traffic from Bathurst/Grahamstown backed up for kilometres. Police turning around PA traffic at the top entrance to Nemato. No sign of dispersing the protest yet.
