Members of the Grahamstown Highway Patrol continue to succeed with vehicle recoveries!
On Tuesday evening the 11th July, while conducting a vehicle checkpoint on the N2, the members stopped a VW Scirocco with an “ND” registration.

A normal search was conducted and it was discovered that the vehicle had a fake licence disc. Further investigations revealed that the vehicle was sought on a Mowbray case. It was reported stolen during this month. The 48-year-old driver was arrested for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle. He will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates court on Thursday 13/7.
