Kuyasa Combined School honours academic top achievers

Earlier today, Kuyasa Combined School teachers and pupils celebrated academic achievement of pupils from Grade 1- 12 in the Titi Jonas Hall.

“Thank you to all the learners who made special effort to achieve,” said principal Xolani Mayana.

“We also want to encourage those others to work hard and show them they too can achieve,” he said.

Mayana said that in spirit of Woman’s Month, he wants to remind the pupils and his colleague that the school wishes to see their daughters grow up in an appropriate manner.

“During this month we take a bow to the mothers,” Mayana said.

“We give credit where credit is due,” said Mayana. He also addressed the Grade 12’s and told them to put up a good fight in the upcoming exams. “When you fight a good fight, you attend school early, you attend all extra classes, you do all your homework, submit all your tasks and don’t take things for granted. You stay positive and remember to fight a good fight”.
