MISS High School South Africa 2017 semi-finalist, Kirsten Julie hosted a Women’s Day walk for charity as part of her campaign’s community outreach initiative.

About 15 people showed up for the walk, which started at the Ndlambe Civic Centre at 10am on the day.

“We didn’t make much, about R190,” said Julie after the event. The proceeds were handed over to Forbes Coutts from the SPCA, and Susan Harty from Child Welfare.

Diligently pursuing her dreams, 17-year-old Julie has been listed as one of 23 finalists for Miss High School South Africa 2017.

The Miss High School SA pageant is a platform which affords young, talented and driven young women the space to be promoted by sponsors and brands, thus empowering them to take charge of their lives as public personalities.
