BAS in good hands

THE Bathurst Agricultural Society (BAS) held its AGM at the Bathurst Showgrounds on Monday and re-elected the committee who had successfully managed another good year.

BAS president Danny Wepener spoke of the upcoming Youth Show that will see over 400 youth, from eight to 18 years of age from all around the country, compete for the prestigious titles on offer.

“This is going to be another important highlight of the year,” said Wepener, who is preparing the showgrounds for the event. He said that BAS was lucky to have been selected to host the event, which will take place on October 1 to 5.
