Grahamstown Highway patrol seizes more dagga on N2

Yesterday members of the Grahamstown Highway Patrol were conducting a vehicle check point with officers from provincial traffic on the N2 at 1:30pm.

Highway Patrol pulled over an Avanza and on checking and searching the vehicle they discovered two plastic bags containing dagga that were wrapped in a bag inside a blanket placed in the boot.

It weighed 5,7 kg valued at R 12 825 . One suspect, a 37 years old male from Joubertina. faces a charge of  possession of dagga. The suspect will appear in the Grahamstown Magistrates Court this week.
