There are two routes, both of which start and finish at the Kariega Main Blue Flag Beach – a 5km fun run for which the entry is R120, and a 12km run for R180.

Race sign-in is at Homewoods, Kenton-on-Sea, starting at 7am. The pre-race briefing is at 8.45am, and the race start is 9am for the 12km and 9.10am for the 5km.

There is parking and toilet facilities at the venue.

Entrants are welcome to bring their dogs (on leads) for the 5km route only. No dogs are allowed on the 12km route.

The race is organised by Free Spirit Adventures in conjunction with Sunshine Coast Tourism.

For entry or race venue queries, call Sheena on 072-293-4974, and for bulk team queries, call Jo on 083-327-7479.

Please note:

Late individual registrations will be accepted on the day – just please arrive early to minimise the chaos at the start.

Pre-race registration (number and race T-shirt collection), as well as late entries will be done at Homewoods in Kenton between 4pm and 6pm on Saturday.

If you can’t make the pre-registration session, don’t stress as you will be able to collect your shirt and number on the day if you entered online.

The course is clearly marked so please follow the markers and listen to the pre-race instructions.

There will be self-service water points along the route. However, the organisers do recommend carrying your own water.

Come and enjoy great trail runs in a beautiful location, and know that your support will be helping in the fight against rhino poaching.

A lucky draw will be done after the event with some amazing prizes up for grabs.
