The popular farmers market is open every Sunday, rain or shine, set under the coral trees among beautiful gardens where locals can find a wide assortment of fresh veggies, bread and other delectable delights from helpful stall holders. All produce is home-grown or home-baked with love and joy in every bite. The eggs at the market come from genuine “krap-hoenders” (hens that scratch) that roam the gardens and farm yards of the traders.

Gingerbread houses and gingerbread men delight children and adults alike, while dogs come back every week for tasters of the doggie treats.

The talented crafters put vibrant colour into the area with the beautiful beaded objects, gorgeous tablecloths, jewellery, handbags, clothing and so much more.

There are loads of marvellous jams, marmalades, pastes, spreads, sauces, pickles and local raw honey. Savour a home-made panini filled with fresh local produce at one of the tables under the trees. This is probably the only market where you can enjoy home-grown coffee and request a personal poem at the same time!

Come and celebrate the Bathurst Farmers Market this Sunday where they are open every Sunday from 8.30am till noon at 237 Kowie Road at Just Off Centre. Shady off-street parking is available in the grounds for customers.
