A blast at the Bathurst Agricultural Museum Farm Fair

EVERY year the Bathurst Agricultural Museum puts on its famous farm fair, a delightful display of old-time skills and crafts that takes visitors back to a bygone era. A place where the village smithy might be mending the ploughshares or the infantry might be firing cannons at an opposing army.

In the video battle raconteur and enthusiast, Basil Mills fires a cannon, but not before an informative and entertaining story of the dangers, the power and the use of cannons in previous eras.

Altogether, if you missed it, you missed out, so you’ll have to wait for next year.
