

PORT Alfred residents are being asked to take a dip in the sea at dawn on the winter solstice, Thursday June 21 at East Beach to help raise funds for the Port Alfred High school pool project.
The Polar Plunge Challenge has been issued by the Port Alfred High School Alumni Association (PAHSAA) who aim to raise R100Â 000 by the end of the year.
An entry fee of either R50 per adult or R30 per child will be charged but will mean “plungers” can enjoy a bacon and Feathers Farm egg brekkie bun and hot coffee on the beach.
