GREAT WHITE SHARK SPOTTED LOCALLY

URGENT NOTICE:

Ndlambe Municipality was informed that a great white shark was spotted behind the breakers off West beach.

The Directorate of community protection services has instructed lifeguards at Port Alfred East beach and Kelly’s Blue Flag beach to close the beaches to swimming until further notice.

This applies to all beaches in Port Alfred. The public has been requested to adhere to instructions from lifeguards.

There have also been reports of Great White Shark at Cannon Rocks over the past few days.
