The Interact Club at Port Alfred High School inducted a new president on Tuesday late afternoon at the school clubhouse where Sheena Louca, last year’s vice president was awarded presidency of the club.
Last year’s president, Lynn Baatjies.passed on the medal of office and was acknowledged for her contribution to the club over her term in office.
After the induction, it was announced that school principal, Clive Pearson, would be retiring at the end of 2019 and the Interactors paid a touching tribute to the man who had seen and helped them through their academic careers at the school.
