This year’s Bathurst Agricultural Show, the 111th show since the show began, was a huge success and saw thousands of visitors visiting hundreds of stands, stalls and exhibitions making it one of the best yet and potentially the biggest and oldest agricultural show in the Eastern Cape as well as South Africa.
The Port Alfred High School Interacters, led by club president Sheena Louca, played their part at the Kenrich Motors outdoor stand and, according to their mentor, Rotary’s Mike Millard, were proper sales people.
“It was amazing to see,” explained Millard. “The judges came to judge the Kenrich stand earlier than anticipated meaning the Interacters had no time to rehearse. However, when the judges returned the Interacters were as good as any professional salesperson showing a complete knowledge of the cars they showed as well as the unique features of the vehicles.”
Both MultiSecurity and Kenrich Motors were awarded first prizes for their stands. For a list of winners at the
various events plus the stand winners, see this week’s Talk of the Town.
