Vets, volunteers and visitors at the SPCA

Vets, local and from Makhanda (Grahamstown) were on-call to assist in the neutering of animals for Mandela Day on Wednesday.

The vets and volunteers from 43 Air School, assembled at around 8am to help keep unwanted puppies, kittens (especially from feral cats) down to a minimum.

Lisa Nyanya was the big star on the day as it was her hard work that brought everything together, including platters from Niche Cafe that were sponsored by Audie Attorneys, and rolls from Superspar for those who brought their animals, the vets and volunteers as well as visitors who brought their animals to be neutered.
