What are you doing at 8am on a Saturday morning?

Chances are you are exhausted from a tough week at work and choose to lie-in on a Saturday morning. Or else the kids have woken you earlier and you are drinking coffee, hoping they go back to bed so you can have a rest, but you know that isn’t going to happen.

Here is something that can shake the cobwebs loose and get you feeling like a new person, relieving stress and getting your ticker beating a little stronger. Best of all, you can bring the kids and even the dog along with you.

Walking or running (or a mixture of both) at the Port Alfred parkrun is the perfect way to begin your weekend proper, so why not join the rest f Port Alfred and enjoy a leisurely trip along the banks of the Kowie River?

If Trevor can run 90-plus parkruns, what’s your excuse?
