Adventure begins for Stenden third years

FINALLY THROUGH WITH SCHOOL: The Stenden South Africa class of 2017 is preparing to split up and represent the institution of higher learning all over the world as hospitality and disaster management interns
Adios, an adventure looms for Stenden third years

THIRD year hospitality and disaster management students were bid a classical Stenden South Africa goodbye at an elegant farewell ceremony hosted by the institution on Youth Day.

The Port Alfred Ski-boat Club was converted into a starry-ceilinged hub of activity, where roughly 40 students could once more network and celebrate with each other before going off on their respective internships.

“Our students are going on internship far and wide including to hospitality establishments in London in the UK, Berlin in Germany, Malawi, USA and Dubai,” said Stenden’s education support office manager Ronel Bartlett.

“The last 2.5 years have been an absolute pleasure with young students who mostly came in directly from school and have now grown in their educational journey with us,” she said.

“To the third year students: The world is your oyster! Make use of it.”
