EVERY year the people of Port Alfred dig deep into their pockets and support the Child Welfare raffle, an essential fundraising effort for the organisation, and backed through the provision of prizes by many Port Alfred businesses.

This year there were 23 prizes given away including first prize; a two-night stay at the Fish River Sun for two adults and two children, the second prize of a two-night stay and hiking trail for 12 people and the third prize, a two-night bed and breakfast at the Panorama Guest House for two people.

There were also R9 500 worth of shopping vouchers, lunches, return trips to Port Elizabeth, pet vaccinations, jewellery and hampers generously provided by businesses in the area.
