Bathurst SAPS identify “bomas” used by children for criminal activity

In an effort to keep children off the street and prevent them from committing acts of criminality, Bathurst SAPS and the Bathurst Community Police Forum  engaged with the Ndlovini community. They identified that the children made  “bomas” (house like structures) in the bushes where they slept and got together to plan commit crime.

The team then went through the bushes and destroyed the houses that were made by the children. The community pledged their support and assured SAPS that they will continue to assist to fight crime by providing information on crime and criminal activities.
