A boost for Ndlambe tourism

THERE’S a new player in the tourism industry, TravelCo, and its initial aim is to promote Ndlambe and the Eastern Cape.

TRAVEL GURU: Rosie Taverner, the hands-on director of TravelCo, is working hard to bring the best getaway packages to locals and international visitors to the Sunshine Coast Picture: ROB KNOWLES

“Our immediate focus for the tour operational side is on Port Alfred and surrounding areas, but we also offer inbound and outbound flights and packages,” said company director Rosie Taverner.

Taverner moved permanently to Port Alfred to head the team. Dr Rick Pryce is her partner and the second director in the business and, as a former chairman of the PA Business Forum and a main signatory in establishing Sunshine Coast Tourism, he can offer many insights into who’s who in the town.
