FOR all the cricketers who participate in the Pineapple Cricket Tournament, or play rural league cricket, Friday evening’s prizegiving is the highlight of the year, and the friendliness and camaraderie were evident as the players celebrated another successful Year.

Grahamstown Cricket Board president Leon Coetzee said that, as far as the league was concerned, the real battle was between Kenton Cricket Club and Station Hill Cricket Club as to who could get more pictures in Talk of the Town.
